Star-shaped discharging device, also known as unloader, discharge valve, rotary feeder, or airlock valve, is typically composed of a rotor with multiple blades, housing, seals, reducer, and motor.
When the material from the upper bin falls by gravity into the gaps between the blades, it is discharged from the lower part as the blades rotate. Therefore, the star-shaped unloader can discharge material quantitatively and continuously. It is commonly used in pneumatic conveying systems, either for pressure or negative pressure systems. The star-shaped unloader can feed material uniformly and continuously into the conveying pipe, ensuring a stable gas-solid ratio in the pneumatic conveying line, thus enabling normal operation of pneumatic transport. At the same time, it isolates the upper and lower air pressures, providing an airlock function. Hence, it is a key component in pneumatic conveying systems. It is especially suitable for dust and small particle materials and is widely selected in engineering projects of environmental protection, metallurgy, chemical industry, grain, cement, road construction, drying equipment, and other industrial sectors.
This product is available in multiple varieties, classified by housing material: cast type and stainless steel type. According to wear resistance, it is divided into standard type and wear-resistant type.
